Siraj Narsi
Siraj Narsi is an Entrepreneurship and Business Finance consultant based in Houston. Prior to moving to North America, he was a faculty member at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi. He also held senior management and governance positions with the Aga Khan Development Network in Pakistan and Tanzania. He earned an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration Karachi (1994 Evening Program), a Master’s degree in Education from The University of Texas at Austin (1990) and Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from NED University, Karachi (1986). Siraj is a Director of Pakistan Association of Greater Houston and sits on the executive and advisory boards of various other non-profit and community organizations. He is also an emerging film maker, having co-produced an independent American science fiction film “Cerebrum”.
Mohammad Mirza Khorasanee
Mirza Khorasanee is a 1982 gold medalist in Marketing from the morning program at IBA. He is currently working for a Houston based group of companies holding 2 portfolios; Procurement Director of Packwell Inc. and Vice President/General Manager of Avanti Stones.
Packwell is the 10th largest plastic packaging company in USA while Avanti Stones is the Exclusive Distributor for Hanstone Quartz manufactured by Hyundai L&C USA. Mirza was also Director Administration KESC for 3 years. He has spent his entire career in corporate and business management. He is also an active volunteer with TCF’s Houston Chapter which he considers his best assignment ever.
Naeem Mohammad Qurashi
“Mohammad Naim QURASHI” as per IBA records and later changed, Naeem Mohammad QURASHI graduated from IBA in 1981 (academic year 1979). He has 24 years’ experience in IT domain, working with Fortune 500 companies managing IT teams. Before moving to the US, he worked in the private sector for 5 years, then managed his own garments manufacturing and exporting unit in Pakistan. Currently he runs multiple ecommerce businesses based in Houston.
Dr. Muddassir Siddiqui
Dr. Muddassir Siddiqi is an accomplished educator and leader with a career spanning over 25 years. He is the President of Central College, a Houston Community College System institution, since 2017. Dr. Siddiqi serves on several non-profit organizations’ boards. Dr. Siddiqi earned his Ed.D. in Adult Education
from Northern Illinois University (NIU), Master of Business Administration from Northern Alabama University (UNA), and a Master’s degree in Industrial Technology from the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). In Pakistan, he attended the NED University of Engineering & Technology and the Institute of Business Administration (1998 Evening program). He is a passionate educator who has taught undergraduate and graduate-level university courses and presented extensively at national and international conferences
Zahid Hasan Butt
A graduate of Mechanical engineering (1970) from NED Engineering College Karachi and MBA from IBA (1979), Zahid Butt had a multifaced career involving engineering and corporate management. Worked 10 years in Pakistan in steel industry followed by 17 years in Middle East in construction management and corporate management, followed by 20 years in USA in a multinational inspection industry. Post retirement, he is actively involved in various social and charitable causes. He is a past President of NED Alumni Association in Houston and active member of NED Alumni Association North America’s endowment fund committee named ALEF. He also serves on the Boards of Pakistan Federation of Business USA and Saaf Pani.
